Sofa & Upholstery Cleaning in Hérault

Injection-extraction cleaning at your home, with eco-certified Chemspec products and a 2–4 hour drying time.

A sofa collects more than it shows. Fine grit works down past the weave and grinds at the fibres every time someone sits down; body oils and sun cream transfer from skin into the fabric and turn the headrest and armrests darker than the rest. A vacuum reaches the surface. Neither a vacuum nor a rented carpet washer reaches the layer underneath, which is where most of it sits.

We clean it with Kärcher and Santoemma injection-extraction machines: cleaning solution goes into the fibre under pressure and comes straight back out with the soil, rather than soaking in and drying there. The products are eco-certified Chemspec and Prochem — non-toxic, biodegradable, safe around children and pets. We work anywhere in the Hérault department, in your living room, and we also clean mattresses on the same visit.

The Problem

What actually gets into a sofa

Grit and body oils below the surface

Dust and sand settle past the weave and act like sandpaper against the fibres. Oils from skin and hair build up where people rest their heads and arms. Together they flatten the pile and dull the colour, which is why a sofa can look tired long before it is worn out.

Odours held in the padding

Pet accidents, smoke and spilled drinks travel through the cover into the foam beneath. Surface sprays mask the smell for a few days and it returns. We inject a Prochem ProSolve enzyme treatment into the padding, which breaks uric acid down at molecular level, then extract it back out.

Residue from the last clean

Shampoo-based cleaning leaves detergent behind in the fabric, and that residue is sticky — it attracts the next layer of dust, so the sofa re-soils faster than before. Extraction rinses the solution back out instead of leaving it in the fibre.

Sofa cleaning — common questions

Our list prices are €100 for a 2-seater, €130 for a 3-seater (premium models €130–160), €180 for a corner sofa and €50–70 for an armchair. The minimum call-out is €90 anywhere in Hérault. Send us a photo and we confirm one fixed price before we come, with no upfront payment.

We clean it at your home in a single visit, and nothing is removed. Our Kärcher injection-extraction equipment is mobile, so we set up in your living room, clean the sofa where it stands and leave it ready to use after the drying time of about 2–4 hours.

We use professional Kärcher and Santoemma injection-extraction machines with Chemspec and Prochem products, including a Prochem ProSolve enzyme treatment for odours. The products are eco-certified, non-toxic and biodegradable, and they are hypoallergenic, so they suit homes with children, pets and allergy sufferers.

Most sofas are dry enough to sit on within about 2–4 hours, depending on the fabric, the padding and the ventilation in the room. Our Kärcher extraction removes most of the water during cleaning, which is why drying is fast, and we advise opening a window to speed it up.

We are based in Béziers and serve towns across Hérault, including Sète, Agde, Frontignan, Mèze, Marseillan, Pézenas, Clermont-l’Hérault and Lodève, plus nearby villages. We are open Monday to Friday, 10:00–16:00, and we reply to every quote request within 2 hours.

Yes. Odour sits in the padding, so our Prochem enzyme treatment is injected and extracted with Kärcher equipment to break it down. Deep odour treatment is +€35 and ozone sterilisation +€40–60. Stains such as wine, coffee and food usually lift well, and we tell you honestly in the quote if one may not.
